Surprise, it’s a sprinkle. Unnamed baby boy number two was on his way and in his honor we had a "For the Love of..." sprinkle at Mimi's Cafe. Yumm. Kaycee had no clue. Each gift correlated with the words "For the love of..." Grandma Vi said "For the Love of kind words" Uncle Allyn said "For the love of coffee to keep you going after those long nights" Aunt Jeannie said "For the love of reading, and imagination" Amy S said "For the love of Seuss, Dr. Seuss" Macynn said "For the love of Frank and flying to the moon." Distressed

My Editor in Chief has been working full time and in all the commotion has left the gallery used to showcase my life in shambles, abandoned and neglected! She's filed and not completed events such as Markee's birthday, the opening of Christmas gifts (hello 4 months ago!) trips to Busch Gardens and Sea World, Easter and my new cousins’ arrival to Earth. I am very distressed. This Sunday morning I made it very clear that today should be the day devoted to hours of cropping, cutting, pasting, uploading and posting. I mean I'm paying this lady in "cheeses" "pleases" nose rubbing hugs and sweet fat lipped smooches!! She's making bank if you ask me. This morning I documented the last of my attempts at verbal counseling. Any further delays and we will be writing some serious paperwork! Standby, a pink slip could be in order. -MACE

Mama Ooohoo Oooohoo. Working Rhapsody.

My editor and mother is away for work. She's trying hard to play catch up.
Dad's taking lots of pictures, we will post together soon.
Until then here are some older shots never before posted.

A story from the editor

We were reading a Caldecott winning book telling the tale of Noah's Ark. There was an illustration of Noah, his wife, sons and his sons wives all gathering grain berries and fruit in large woven baskets. On this page Macynn asked me “Mom, what’s that?” I said “What’s what? I don’t understand what are asking about? She pointed to the women’s dresses. And again said “That, what is that?” I told her it’s a dress, called an abayah, it is what many women wore a long time ago and some still wear it today in certain parts of the World. She cocked her head and said “Oh, I thought they were all wearing Suggies.”
I cracked up laughing and then started thinking seriously about how much TV this child is being exposed to!!!
